Liquid Hydrogen. Reliable Power. Wherever the Grid Falls Short.
Integrated liquid-hydrogen energy delivery systems for resilient, long-duration power.
Veylanta combines liquid-hydrogen storage, boil-off management, CHP-assisted vaporization, PEM fuel-cell generation, battery buffering, power electronics, and intelligent controls into one modular energy platform.
Critical Power Still Depends on Diesel
Data centres, telecom networks, hospitals, ports, remote industries and emergency-response operations require reliable power even when the grid is weak, unavailable or too slow to expand. Today, customers cope by operating diesel generators, maintaining fuel inventories and accepting high operating costs, noise, local air pollution, carbon emissions and supply-chain exposure.
One Coordinated Energy Platform
Veylanta converts delivered liquid hydrogen into dependable electrical power through a modular and intelligently controlled system. Boil-off hydrogen is captured and routed toward useful consumption. Recoverable heat from the fuel cell, battery, power electronics and connected loads supports controlled hydrogen vaporization. Battery storage manages startup, transient demand and peak power, while supervisory controls coordinate hydrogen flow, thermal availability, electrical demand and system safety.
Starting with High-Value, Grid-Constrained Power
Primary market: Extended-duration backup and distributed power for data centres and critical infrastructure across Asia.
From U.S. Alpha Development to an Asian Pilot
Designed as a System, Not a Collection of Components
The central differentiation is that Veylanta coordinates cryogenic, thermal, hydrogen, fuel-cell, battery and electrical subsystems as one optimized energy-delivery platform rather than assembling disconnected components.

Jafar Makrani is a mechanical engineer and deep-tech founder with prior U.S. startup-building experience through Agami Zero, Inc. His work has included development of a gaseous-hydrogen fuel-cell and battery Alpha prototype in the United States, filing of a U.S. provisional patent for a liquid-hydrogen-powered modular energy delivery system, commercialization work involving MHD-enhanced hydrogen electrolysis, and development of hydrogen, battery, and electrochemical technology proposals for opportunities involving the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, and DARPA totaling approximately $18 million. He won First Prize, valued at $127,500, at the University of Colorado Boulder's 2025 Lab Venture Challenge, participated in The Engine Blueprint, and was invited to the SET Tech Festival in Berlin.
We are assembling a multidisciplinary team across cryogenic hydrogen systems, fuel-cell integration, power electronics, controls, safety, manufacturing, and energy-infrastructure commercialization.
Seeking a senior technical advisor with deep expertise in PEM fuel-cell systems, hydrogen conditioning, or cryogenic storage, ideally with commercialization experience in Asia or with major OEMs.
Seeking an advisor with established relationships in Japan or South Korea energy markets - data centre operators, utilities, or critical infrastructure developers.
Seeking a venture-experienced advisor who has scaled a deep-tech energy company from prototype to commercial deployment, with networks in the Asia VC and corporate venture ecosystem.
Veylanta is actively building its advisory board and technical team. Inquiries from qualified advisors, engineers and executives in hydrogen, fuel cells, cryogenics and critical infrastructure are welcome.
